Which foundation site is right for you?

The Details:

Your colors, fonts, and images. We can also rearrange page sections on a page (move a section up or down the page) to accommodate the best way to display your content. While the Basic Foundation site starts has a blank slate — after your colors, fonts, and images have been added, it will look unique and professional.
Yes. The colors used on a website are a critical part of looking professional. If you already have a logo and photography, I will select a color palette that works with them seamlessly.
You will provide your photos. If you don’t think you’ll have as many photos as the image placeholders on your Basic Foundation Site, that’s just fine. We can remove image placeholders and use what you have. If you’d like me to select a beautifully curated collection of high-quality stock photos that feel like an extension of your brand, then it would be best for you to upgrade to the Customized Foundation Site.
No problem. Your Basic Foundation Site is not limited to seven pages. You’ll be able to repurpose pre-designed sections and create as many website pages as you need. If you’d like us to set those pages up for you, we’d be happy to at $100 per extra page.
You will create your own Squarespace account (or use an account you already have). We will set up your Basic Foundation Site on the Simple & Soulful Squarespace account and transfer ownership to your account after you’ve made your final project payment at the time of launch.
Not a problem. We’ll keep your current site live while we set up your Basic Foundation Site. On launch day, we’ll set up a ‘getting a makeover today’ page and import your Foundation Site design. This process (for a five page site) takes approximately two hours. If your current site is on Squarespace’s 7.0 platform, we will need to upgrade you to 7.1 prior to the design migration.
The build can begin the week after your pre-work is ready. Pre-work includes uploading your branding, photos, and content into your project folder. It also includes completing a few simple worksheets that I’ll assign to you. At the time of your initial call, we’ll talk about your preferred launch date. If your Basic Foundation Site does not include add-ons (such as branding or copywriting), the turnaround time is one week. Immediately after our initial call, I’ll send you a project quote that includes the services you’d like included in your project along with a detailed project timeline.
The first week after launch, we provide FREE tech support so if you find any little mystery glitches (this rarely happens), we will take care of it immediately. If you’d like to hire me for ongoing support such as Squarespace training sessions, adding new pages or functionality to the site, designing items in Canva, etc. I offer a retainer package, which is a bundle of hours at an affordable rate. I’d be happy to share more information about this during our initial call.

The Details:

We’ll customize your colors, fonts, and images. Beyond that, we can give your Foundation Site a truly bespoke feel by including things like custom-designed icons and graphics to give your pages on-brand personality. For example, let’s say your logo includes hand-drawn flowers. We can carry that aspect of your brand throughout the site in the form of unique icons for your services or flower graphics that overlay or underlay photos. We could also design a subtle floral pattern that could be used as a section background. In addition to those customizations, we can also design new section layouts if need be (to best fit your page content). Newly designed sections retain the look and feel of the entire site but are a creative expansion of the Basic Foundation Site. The customizations we can include are fairly endless and turn a Foundation Site into a truly unique visual experience.

Yes! I’ll hand-select a beautifully curated collection of high-quality stock photos that feel like an extension of your brand. If you already have photos, we’ll use those. But most of my clients need filler photos and it’s important that those photos are high quality and not cheap or cheesy looking. I’ll make sure your stock photos feel real and authentic (which makes you look professional and builds trust).
